The larp will be played by 25 characters divided into familiar groups; throughout the game, their allegiances and relationships will change in a partially scripted manner.

• The Wagner family (2, married couple)
• The Perez family (5, 2 parents and 2 children)
• The Morris family (3, married couple and a sister)
• Maple Street neighbors (5, 2 married couples and a child)
• Mt. Lagos College group (6, 2 professors and 4 roommates)
• Everyone else (5 people unaffiliated with the others)

Public profiles will be provided when ready and casting preferences will be collected with signup. Full, nontransparent character sheets will be sent in advance of the larp.

Characters in-game range in age from 18 to 66 at the start of the game. They are prewritten as male, female, or non-binary; players of any gender may play characters of either gender without restriction and player gender will be neither recorded nor used in casting.
